What we collect, and what we do not.

Last updated 30 July 2026

This site is deliberately thin on data collection. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and has no forms. Almost everything below describes what happens only if you choose to book a call or write to us.

Who this is about

Niyametric Systems LLP (“Niyametric”, “we”, “us”) designs and builds software and automation systems, and is based in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. This policy covers niyametric.com and the enquiries it leads to. It does not cover systems we build and operate for clients — those are governed by the agreement with that client.

When you just read the site

Two things happen automatically, neither of which identifies you to us personally:

  • Hosting logs. Our host, Vercel, records the usual request data — IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the time. We do not read these routinely; they exist so the site can be operated and abuse investigated.
  • Page analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which sections are read. It is cookieless, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other websites. We see aggregate numbers, not individuals.

There is one thing worth naming plainly because it is not obvious: the booking window on this site is provided by Cal.com, and your browser contacts cal.com when the page loads — before you click anything — in order to fetch that component. Cal.com therefore sees your IP address on any visit, whether or not you ever book. If that matters to you, a content blocker will stop it and the booking buttons will simply become ordinary links.

This site sets no cookies of its own and writes nothing to local storage. If you open the booking window, cal.com may set cookies on their own domain under their policy, not ours.

When you book a call

The booking form is operated by Cal.com, and you give it:

  • your name and email address, which are required;
  • your phone number, which is optional;
  • your answer to “the process that costs you the most time”.

That last field is free text about how your business works. Please do not put confidential material, personal data about other people, or anything covered by an NDA into it. A sentence is enough for us to prepare.

The booking lands in our Google Workspace calendar and inbox. We use it to hold the meeting, prepare for it, and follow up. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own purposes.

When you email us

Mail to hello@niyametric.com reaches Google Workspace and stays there. We keep what you send us so we can answer it and keep a record of the conversation.

Who else processes it

We are a small team and we do not run our own infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf:

Vercel
Hosting and page analytics. Request logs, aggregate page views. Their policy
Cal.com
Scheduling. Your name, email, optional phone, and your answer to the process question. Their policy
Google (Workspace)
Email and calendar. Whatever you send us, and your booking. Their policy

These providers operate internationally, so your data may be processed on servers outside India.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and booking records are kept for 24 months from our last contact with you, after which they are deleted. Hosting logs are kept for the shorter period our host retains them. If we end up working together, the engagement agreement governs instead.

You can ask us to delete your details sooner. See below.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data of yours we hold and who we have shared it with;
  • correct or complete anything inaccurate;
  • erase it, where we have no continuing reason to keep it;
  • withdraw consent you previously gave;
  • nominate someone to exercise these rights if you cannot.

Email hello@niyametric.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you are in the UK or EU, equivalent rights under the UK GDPR and GDPR apply and we will honour them the same way.

Grievances

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data or your request, contact our Grievance Officer:

You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
